Roxie Fricton is an Atlanta-based textile artist whose work explores the intersection of history, identity, and women’s lived experiences. Through handweaving, she connects past and present, reinterpreting traditional woven drafts by combining research and pattern manipulation to uncover hidden narratives and reframe their meanings. Roxie earned her Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Textiles from the University of North Georgia in 2024 and is currently pursuing an MFA in Textiles at the Ernest G. Welch School of Art and Design at Georgia State University.
